In Memory of James

Mark Watson 4th August 2019 This event has closed

Story

James loved life, he loved the great outdoors, he had so much to offer , but  he was taken from us at the age of 20 in April 2018  . James died  of SUDEP ( Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy) we didn't  even have the chance to say good bye and tell him how much we loved him.

James family and friends miss him so much, he was special in so many ways he brought light and laughter to everyone he met. He had so many plans for the future that he never had the chance to fulfil .

Following James death I have been determined to raise money in memory of James and to support Epilepsy Action in raising greater understanding of Epilepsy and the devastating effect that it can have on those who suffer from it and on those people  who have family and / or  friends who suffer.

I have entered ride London which takes place on 4th August  to raise funds for Epilepsy Action and also,  to be honest  because I hope that it will help me with my own grieving , I cant bring James back but I can try do something positive in his memory .

Ride London is a festival of cycling involving over 100,000 participants  , I have entered the 100 mile route along with 25,000 cyclists, the roads are closed for the event - all I need to do is get some more training done!
